Holy Cross Ministries + Children's Media Workshop

In the spring of 2006 Sister Mary Ann Pajakowski asked photographic artist John Schaefer to work with an afterschool program in Wendover, Utah with funding from the Utah Arts Council.

Sharing a border with Wendover, Nevada and its booming gambling business it has become a magnet for immigration (90% Hispanic, 10% Eastern European).
